The Czech Beer Festival will present the top quality production of the Czech breweries to the largest possible number of visitors, the anticipated total of which is 100 000 this year. You can choose from more than 50 different Czech beers supplied for this particular occasion, taste the exquisite Czech pork prepared by skilled butchers and cooks, try various delicatessens and confectioneries made for you in the course of the event. First class quality draught beer will be served in custom-made glass beer mugs. All guests will be looked after by staff dressed in traditional Czech folk costumes.
The Festival will be running in a complex of large tents, each of which having its own stage for different entertainment programmes.
Your food and drinks at the Festival will be paid with the use of a special currency produced particularly for this occasion, so called BeerTolars. The Tolars can be bought from the festival personnel serving the guests at tables inside the tents. They will be sold in packs containing minimum five pieces. The Tolars will not be reimbursed into real money but they will remain valid throughout the festival. They may be used both for purchasing food and drinks inside the tents and for buying the official festival souvenirs (e.g. plush pint, beer goggles, T-shirts etc.).The value of 1 Tolar is 40 CZK (Czech crowns).
The Festival will be open from 22.05. to 31.05.2009, 15:00 to 24:00 hrs every day. ADMISSION IS FREE!

HOW TO GET THERE
Take underground line “C” and exit at “Letòany” terminus station. The Exhibition Centre is about 5 minutes walk or it can be reached by a free trade-fair bus No. 758 stopping in front of it.
